Firstly what is media institution and distribution?

 

Media Institution:

This is an organization that deals with the production, marketing, distribution and regulation of media products.

 

Distribution:

The act of selling the media product on a small or large scale. The ways in which a film is distributed is dependent on the style of the film, its audience and the media institution. A high budget film will have a larger scale of distribution compared to a low budget niche film.
